Opening Night – Mixed Media Exhibit – September 19, 2008
Stanley S. Goodman has been a sculptor in the south Florida area for the past 30 years. Working initially in marble and now in welded steel and chrome-steel. Although without formal training he has studied under such master sculptors as Enzo Gallo a well known Marble sculptor as well as Rafael Consuegra of Miami and Isabel Sobel of New York both sculptors in steel.
His work encompasses both abstract and figurative. It often explores ideas of outer space and concepts of construction and often make use of motion and negative space.
He has had several one man and group shows in the south Florida area. His work appears in many private collections and public spaces as well.
