Led by the creative team of Jerry Zaks (La Cage Aux Folles, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Everybody Loves Raymond), B.T. McNicholl (Spamalot, Billy Elliot, Cabaret) and Dennis DeYoung (founding member of the rock group Styx, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), 101 DALMATIANS will transport audiences to a slightly topsy-turvy, exciting, and altogether fantastic reality that gives grand license for song, dance and spectacle in a one-of-a-kind show that will leave everyone cheering.

THE WALWORTH FARCE
November 4 – 7, 2009
Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts – Carnival Studio Theater
Written by Enda Walsh , Directed by Mikel Murfi
“Ferociously Entertaining!” -The New York Times
Direct from acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Off-Broadway runs comes the award-winning hit Variety calls “a triumph of suspense and staging, enacted unforgettably!” Brilliantly incorporating rapid costume changes, cross-dressing, and mistaken identities, THE WALWORTH FARCE shifts from hilarity to shocking realism, from madcap slapstick to the deeper, darker concerns that are revealed when an outsider enters the family circle. Initially resembling a wild Irish version of the “Three Stooges”, THE WALWORTH FARCE eerily transports you into the “twilight zone of one family’s personal mythology: the anecdotes, the rituals, the lies, the wounding jokes that keep blood kin shackled together in irons that are stronger than truth” (The New York Times).
