Lots of people will be “flying through the air” this New Year’s Eve — especially on Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue — but here’s an opportunity to actually see real performers do it with an artistic flair. Internationally recognized, Animated Objects Physical Theater will be performing at Mardi Gras Casino’s New Year’s Eve celebration on Thursday, December 31st.
Animated Objects has captivated audiences at The Adrienne Arsht Center, Westin Diplomat, South Beach Food & Wine Festival, and the Bahamas’ Atlantis Resort, just to name a few. They will be presenting a four-hour outdoor interactive performance with a lunar aerial dome, aerial arts, acrobatic stilt dancing, contemporary dancing, and fire performances.

8:30 p.m. Interactive Stilt Dancer, Mime and Acrobatic Dancer meet and greet guests upon arrival
8:50 p.m. Solo Atmospheric Aerial Hammock Performance set in the Aerial Dome

9:15 p.m. Solo Atmospheric Aerial Hammock Performance set in the Aerial Dome
9:45 p.m. Aerial Hoop Act set in the Aerial Dome
10:45 p.m. Aerial Silks Show set in the Aerial Dome
11:00 p.m. Interactive LUNA │ AZUL Pixie & Fairy Dancers join the party
11:30 p.m. Aerial Spanish Web Performance set in the Aerial Dome
Midnight Dancers gather for the Mardi Gras Casino Jester drop in the Aerial Dome
12:15 p.m. Fire Dancers explode into action for a 15-min. show beneath the Aerial Dome
As the sun sets on Thursday, December 31st, 2009, the party begins at Mardi Gras Casino.
