I agree with your relfections and philosophies about money. I have a painting, “Vegas Zombie”, which though shocking, symbolizes the hypnotic state of those chasing money.

I am American. I went to Europe on scholarship for about a year and traveled a lot. When I got back to America, I was yet again in culture shock. Quantity and loudness is respected in our culture in many instances. There is no time for the mind to be creative when the loudness of the masses and the sensationalizm of the idea smothers the originality and subtlety of the senses.

I will see your loft soon and my friend, an interior designer from Europe, speaks highly of your ideals.

It’s great that local Miami artists are recognized in this way. If we want Miami to grow and be recognized as an Art Capital, we need to support or at least be present for these events.

I know I, along with my wife, will make every effort to be at the general opening. It is the least we can do.

This sounds like something that was done 2 years ago on Miami Beach. IT was a blimp parade done by many artists of giant blimps called Skywalkers at Art Basel. Totally unoriginal
