The Stage Opening in the Design District

December 17, 2010 by Group

The StageThere’s a new 10,000 square foot live performance venue opening up in Miami’s Design District next month called The Stage that sounds very promising. It is billed as a place “for aspiring and established musicians, artists and entertainers to showcase their talents.”

We’re told they are opening to the public on Friday, January 7th, 2011 at 9pm. with a VIP Sneak Peak for “Media and Concierges” from 6pm – 9pm.  The soft opening will be followed by a Grand Opening celebration on February 4th, 2011.

Looks like the heavy details are already covered by Miami Beach Mag here…

The Stage is a 10,000 square foot entertainment venue that gives onlookers a birds-eye view of performances on their nearly 200 square foot stage.  Two garage style doors open to the outdoor space providing unobstructed views at nearly every angle. Taking cues from old world New Orleans, Andrea Mejia designed The Stage with the charm and sophistication of the city in mind.

The Stage is located at 170 NE 38th Street in Miami, and you can bet our whole team will be on scene both nights for this opening. We’ll report back to you on how the opening goes—unless you’d like to join us, of course.
